The closest match in this set. They differ on how much of the judgement is the model's.
UserJot and Upvoted are the same shape. Both are a public board, a roadmap that follows the statuses, and a changelog that tells the people who voted. Both are self-serve, both price the workspace rather than the reader, and either can be live the afternoon you sign up. If these two are your shortlist, nothing on this page is going to be a shock.
Start with the part that is not in our favour. UserJot puts no limit on how many people you add, on any plan. Upvoted Pro includes two seats and Max lifts the limit, so a five-person team that wants everyone in has to be on Max. Count your seats first, because that is the one difference on this page decided for you rather than by you.
The real split is how much of the work each tool hands to a model. UserJot leads with it: duplicates spotted as someone posts, tags applied for you, release posts drafted. Upvoted takes the opposite default. Automatic tagging exists, but it is off until you switch it on, it may only pick from tags you have already created, and it is never asked to invent one. Duplicates are found by searching the board and merged by a person, which carries the votes across and counts anyone who voted on both only once. Release notes are written by you. Neither default is right in general; they suit different temperaments, and it is worth knowing which one is yours before you pick.
The second split is what a vote is worth once it is cast. In Upvoted a collaborator's vote is counted separately from the public's, so a board that is busy because your own team is enthusiastic looks different from one that is busy because your customers are. On top of that an admin can score a request for impact and effort from 1 to 5, and the priority that comes out is votes × impact ÷ effort, plotted on a four-quadrant matrix. Those scores belong to the team: the public board, the API, the widget and Zapier never show them.
UserJot is a good tool and the closest thing to Upvoted in this comparison set. The questions worth asking are whether you want a model doing the filing, whether the difference between internal and public demand matters to you, and whether you need the board on your own domain today, because that last one is theirs, not ours.
Compared on the things that do not change every quarter. For current prices, check both pricing pages, they move.

|---|---|---|
| Pricing model | Per workspace, with unlimited users on every plan | Per account: Pro includes two seats, Max has no seat limit |
| Where the AI sits | Through the flow: duplicate detection, tagging, drafted release posts | Tagging only, off by default, and only from tags the board already has |
| Duplicates | Caught as people post | Searched across the whole board and merged by a person, with double voters counted once |
| Internal vs public votes | Standard voting | Collaborator votes tracked separately from public ones |
| Prioritisation | Votes and status | Votes, plus impact, effort and a priority matrix only the team ever sees |
| Release notes | AI-drafted, emailed to voters | Written and scheduled by you, emailed to the people who voted |
| Custom domain | Available | Not yet: boards live on upvoted.io, with the widget for the in-app case |
| MCP server | Yes | Yes, on Max: seven tools over your boards, on your own API token |
UserJot is a feedback board, roadmap and changelog for SaaS teams, with AI running through the middle of it.
Feature voting, a public roadmap and a changelog, from one account.
There is no one-click UserJot importer here. What there is: a CSV import that reads Canny's export and Upvoted's own as they are, and takes any other export once its columns have been renamed to match ours. Send us the file and we will map it for you. Titles, descriptions, statuses, tags and vote counts come across, so the ranking you have built up over months does not reset on the day you move.
Vote counts arrive as counts. An export gives us a number, not the people behind it, so those voters cannot be notified when the request ships and nothing here invents them; anyone who votes after the move is a real contributor again. The other half of the job is the link. Swap the board URL in your docs, your onboarding emails and your in-app menu, or drop the Upvoted widget in where the UserJot one sat, bound to your own button if you would rather it did not look like a widget.
